The General Manager, Cell Biology/Recombinant Proteins for the Biosciences Division will drive the Recombinant Proteins (REP) business strategy by engaging and aligning key partners and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure R&D, product management, commercial functions and the operations organizations are driving delivery of the value proposition and the effective commercialization of new products and innovations.
  • Establish relationships and partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders, strategic partners, and set strategies across the REP business to drive longer term growth and support the organization's mission.
  • Responsible for the P&L, including meeting or exceeding revenue and EBITDA targets.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, building and driving the cross-divisional portfolio roadmap, supporting further integration processes and system implementations, and working with colleagues to provide high quality products that cultivate customer enablement and successful support of their scientific research and ultimately commercialization.
  • Be a supplying leader within the BID leadership team, drive collaboration to ensure achievement of growth. Demonstrate and champion core authentic leadership behaviors. Promote diversity, including with respect to experience and thought leadership.

Travel: approximately 25% globally

How You Get Here

  • 10 years' proven ability in optimally leading cross-functional teams within the Health Care/ Life Sciences industry
  • Prior business general management experience, with at least $50M in revenue, including full P&L responsibility (preferred).
  • A proven track record to set strategic direction for new/high growth business.
  • Proficient at achieving results through influence in matrix organizations, including strong presentation and presentation skills
  • Strong operational and GMP knowledge to support key processes and production (preferred).
  • Strong integration and organizational change experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, communications, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategy. Able to perform against robust growth target, considering various metrics and data inputs, including both organic and inorganic approaches
  • Bachelor degree required, MBA and/or additional advanced degree (preferred)
