Position Summary:
The Training Specialist role at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. presents a unique opportunity to significantly impact the organization's Global Business Services (GBS) and the retained organization. As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing role-specific learning programs, and ensuring seamless training delivery. Your contributions will play a vital role in promoting a positive and sustained culture in line with the vision of GBS leadership.
In this role, you will be working closely with technical and business experts to conduct a Learning Needs Analysis, design a training curriculum, create training schedules, and provide documentation to track training progress. You will navigate multiple divisions and functions, leading training activities across various projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technical and business guides to settle and document training needs for roles transitioning to the GBS shared service centers. This includes onboarding, system, process, and soft skills training.
- Develop and implement special training schedules, ensuring all training content and sessions are delivered perfectly as planned.
- Maintain clear and precise documentation of learning needs, training curriculum, training schedule, and training status at the individual, team, and overall level.
- Proactively follow up with trainees to ensure training plans remain on track and the curriculum reflects the current status.
- Coordinate and leverage existing training resources to deliver outstanding training experience.
- Lead training satisfaction and post-training assessment surveys, collaborating with SMEs to define survey questions and analyze results.
- Provide outstanding support in crafting training content as needed.
- Optionally, assist in delivering training sessions to ensure an extraordinary learning experience.
- Support training activities for shared service center operations improvement or implementation projects.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in delivering learning needs analysis and training programs.
- A strong passion for learning and development.
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in creating precise and clear documentation.
- Track record of working effectively within project timelines and being responsible for training activities.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written), with proficiency in other languages being a plus.
- Prior experience in training delivery is advantageous.
- Knowledge of shared services is a bonus.
- Demonstrate success in building collaborative partner relationships with a wide range of internal customers.
- Ability to work independently and lead multiple projects and timelines concurrently.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
