Job Description
The GBS AI Engineer will play a dynamic and creative role in completing the GBS Shared Services AI strategy globally across various finance and Customer Care workstreams. This role will be responsible for demonstrating advanced technologies such as Machine Learning, Gen AI and others, to enhance existing business processes. The role will involve researching, designing, developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve efficiency and drive strategic growth. The AI Engineer will partner with a range of customers including, GBS Shared Services Operations, Automation, IT, and PPI. This will give opportunity to work in a multinational environment, as part of a global team, with access to the latest AI technologies, making tangible impact on Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the implementation of AI use cases, including the development of process and technology workflows. Ensure these workflows are efficient, scalable, and align with the specific objectives of each use case.
- Design and implement proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of emerging gen AI technologies in addressing business challenges.
- Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement where AI could be a solution.
- Develop and apply brand new AI solutions to simplify workflows, improve efficiency, and optimize operations.
- Evaluating and selecting appropriate AI tools and machine learning models for tasks, as well as building and training working versions of those models using internal and 3rd party tools
- Stay abreast of advancements in AI technology and evaluate their potential impact on our business.
- Conduct training sessions to improve the company's AI literacy.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customers.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- min. proven experience in the following fields
- Developing algorithms using data science technologies to build analytical models
- Extraction/manipulation experience using scripts specific to AI/ML
- Data wrangling/cleansing, statistical modeling, and programming
- Experience within a shared services environment or in a consulting capacity is a plus
- Experience with both structured and unstructured data (SQL, NOSQL) is a plus
- Experience in data science and Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Natural Language Generation (NLG) is a plus
- Bachelor in a relevant field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, etc.) is a plus
- Prior experience with Finance areas including R2R, P2P or O2C is a plus
- Highly collaborative; aligns effectively with colleagues and business partners to deliver results while increasing the success of all contributors
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
