The PPD FSP Solution:
PPD's Functional Service Provider division partner with and serve as an extension of our PPD team, supporting our customers key functions. Joining within our PPD FSP functional area, allows you to join the renowned PPD CRO and still gain invaluable client dedicated experience.
Summarized Purpose:
Provides complete oversight of vendors for moderate complexity clinical trials in single or more than one region. Selects and contracts with appropriate vendors for scope of client's study and provides financial control and oversight of pass-through budgets.
A Day in the Life:
• Identifies the scope of third-party vendors required to support clinical trials
• Oversight of contracting with vendors, including legal and contract modifications, where required
• Ensures all activities are executed in compliance with company practices, client requirements, GxP and GCP
• Provides financial management of vendor pass through costs
• Identifies risks proactively, develops contingency plans, and communicates to
stakeholders
• Oversight of inverse logistics processes, including returns, destruction, and
recalibration activities
• Participates in team meetings, providing insight about vendors processes and procedures, costs, timelines, requirements, and deliverables
• Maintains close collaboration with the GCS team concerning I/E activities to ensure that appropriate regulations are followed for all countries imports and exports

Key to Success:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
- Skilled in various vendor and clinical systems such as laboratory vendors, supply vendors, and procurement.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal) with the ability to communicate highly technical information to all project team members.
- Excellent organizational, planning, customer service, and time management skills with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines while providing attention to detail.
- Ability to communication effectively with sponsors, vendors, and internal project teams.
