The role is within the Brisbane/Drug Substance Division, and part of the Pharma Services Group. We specialize in GMP manufacturing and commercialization of large molecule biologics at the Brisbane site. Our goal is to meet the needs of our clients in the BioPharma sectors worldwide. We are looking to hire someone to support the MSS team in handling material movement and transactions within the operational production suites as we continue to grow.
About the role:
What You'll do:
- Responsible for supporting the MSS team and greater OPS group by ensuring that all material is delivered to the production suites as per the production schedule.
- Supporting Material Management lifecycle activities to ensure the accuracy SAP material data through tasks such as stock consumption, cycle counts, and material discrepancy investigation.
- Identify and overcome manufacturing challenges, supporting the team to improve key performance indicators for Right the First Time and On Time Delivery.
- Partner with the supply chain, QC, and QA team to maintain the lifecycle of all production material documents, records, safety stock levels, and material expiry.
- Enforce Patheon cGMP Quality Management System and EH&S requirements.
- Act as an SME in process troubleshooting, chipping in to the implementation of relevant new technologies/equipment/processes.
- Enforce OHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and balanced workplace environment.
Keys to Success:
Education:
- Tertiary education in a Science or Engineering-based field (i.e. biopharmaceutical manufacture, biotechnology, process technology).
Skills and experience:
- 1 year of industry data administration experience, preferably in a GMP logistics/manufacturing environment with sound knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (SAP preferred), Smartsheet and data entry software
- Strong organizational skills such as scheduling and planning capabilities and the ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills - both written and verbal - plus attributes showing flexibility, reliability, assertiveness, pro-activeness, and responsibility
