Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Provides daily oversight and management of key procurement programs that support ongoing business functions
  • Responsible for driving program optimization and growth
  • Identify opportunities and drive the execution of projects to further the programs
  • Analyze processes and develop enhancement strategies
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and category owners to ensure category program operations are meeting expectations
  • Develop strategies for risk mitigation, business continuity, and cost management
  • Manage supplier performance and relationship, escalating issues as necessary
  • Partner with suppliers in forward-thinking strategic development and relationship-building
  • Drive development and deployment of supplier management tools and applications

Functional & technical skills

  • Expertise in project/program management
  • Experience in problem solving, creative thinking and continuous improvement
  • Experience in defining and tracking metrics and developing processes to monitor and improve program performance
  • Ability to redefine priorities and allocate resources appropriately
  • Experience providing weekly / monthly reporting and implementing feedback
  • Automation knowledge (PowerApps, PowerAutomate) (Nice to have)
  • Knowledge of sourcing tools (e-sourcing, spend analytics, ERP) (nice to have)

Leadership / behavioral

  • Strong relationship-builder with excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving approach and outside of the box thinking
  • Ability to identify emerging risk and opportunity areas
  • Excellent leadership skills

Experience & Qualification

  • 4+ years of experience in project/program management
  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management,
  • High level of English language competency (verbal and written)
  • Certified in Project management, Agile, Scrum Master and/or Six Sigma (nice to have)
