What you will do:

  • Partner closely with colleagues to provide forecasting, reporting, and project support to meet integration goals.
  • Produce monthly reports, which include key performance indicators (KPI's), financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Orchestrate the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Seek opportunities for performance and process improvement across the organization.
  • Develop models that help with decision-making.
  • Partner with management teams and advisors on ad hoc requests and projects.

How you will get here:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related subject area.

Experience

4+ years of experience in Finance related field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Advanced MS Excel Skills
  • Proficiency with high volume data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Powerpoint and Hyperion.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and presentation skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High learning agility and desire for continuous learning.
  • Able to work independently and willing to work extra hours during the financial calendar.
  • Embodies the Thermo Fisher Scientific values of Integrity, Intensity, Involvement and Innovation.
