Position Summary:

This business-critical role will report to Southeast Asia and Taiwan FP&A Lead, located in Singapore. Key responsibilities include managing headcount and opex reporting, cost center maintenance and ad hoc analysis and projects.

Role and Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expert for Headcount reporting

  • Responsible for EDM submission for cost center creation/maintenance requests
  • Work with various stakeholders to identify cost center creation/maintenance needs and enable clean system reporting
  • Partner with divisional FP&A analysts to update system allocation rates to align corporate reporting

Support IT, Legal, Finance and Shared Services reporting & analysis

  • Partner closely with functional leaders to track and analyze monthly forecasts and actuals for OPEX and Headcount.
  • Ensure key deliverables and timelines for forecast reviews are met. explaining forecast movements, identifying key drivers for changes and variances, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support budget and STRAP plans to support country initiatives
  • Shared services divisional allocation reconciliation
  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, consolidation or related duties as required.

Standard Reporting

  • Maintenance of power query to publish opex database
  • Maintenance of cost center owner and finance delegate in cost center master file
  • Build reporting templates to drive system tie-outs on HC & opex

4) Ability to work across the matrix

  • Possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a complex matrix structure
  • Actively participate and work closely with the country/regional team, function team, and SEATW leaders to support the decision making process.

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-6 years working experience in MNC with opex management experience is preferred
  • Self-motivated, desire to drive operational efficiencies and result driven
  • Comfortable navigating through matrix organization and dealing with senior management and cross function.
  • Strong sense on numbers and proficient in excel, finance modeling. Detail driven, able to handle large amount of data and multiple systems, find out logic and fix problems from root cause.
  • Capable of learning new things and able to learn on the fly
