The Finalyst Program (TFP) is a 24-months graduate program, where talents are invited to discover whether they have the determination to develop a life-long career in Finance and the Life Science sector, with the market leader in serving science. The program offers dual track rotation opportunity.

Yearly rotation to provide candidates with 12 months experience in a role for more depth or 6 months rotation to provide candidates with diverse exposure within finance organizations.

Apart from Financial Analyst opening, we also offer other opportunity within finance organization ie: Internal controls opening. In-depth discussion available if you are shortlisted for interview.

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our APJ Team as a TFP supporting the regional work and driving initiatives in the region. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple divisions, geographies and functions. The role will be a great stepping stone to progress in a Finance career as it provides great insight into the company's structure and leadership objectives.

Position Summary:

This is a regional role to support several divisions at APJ level. This individual must possess the ability to work independently with excellent communication skill to the Global team and Country team

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate the forecast roll up from the countries and review with leaders
  • Report preparation for monthly business review (MBR) and quarterly business review (QBR) with regional and global team
  • Assists the annual budget planning (AOP) with consolidating the country submission and system loading
  • Working with global system and reporting team to ensure financial data quality
  • Provide the weekly performance update to regional and country team including revenue, order booking and product unit tracking
  • Forecast loading into the system to align with the country forecast submission
  • Coordinate with APJ demand planner to finalize the monthly product unit forecast
  • Consolidate the Opex country submission on a monthly basis
  • Maintain and update the division PowerBI for regional and country team
  • Prepare the headcount report with job categories by countries to APJ leadership team
  • Coordinate with APJ sales operation team to report the funnels status as per Global SFDC compliance
  • Handle any Adhoc report (P&L, slides graphs, Power BI, SFDC)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accountancy, Finance or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years of progressive experience in accounting function in an MNC environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in MS Word and Excel, and in ERP systems (i.e. SAP, JDE E1)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High attention to detail and accuracy as data entry is a critical component of role.

Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and meet agreed deadlines.

Positive and enthusiastic attitude combined with an ability to take initiative and work autonomously without supervision.

Willingness to be flexible and dedicated to meeting reporting deadlines.

Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment.

Team player with ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to grasp ideas quickly to resolve problems and issues.
