We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join the Bioprocessing Group's Pharma Analytics business at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to our world-class organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with the General Manager to drive the business to new heights
  • Own the Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, as well as annual cadences such as AOP and STRAP
  • Evaluate investment opportunities to drive growth and profitability such as: CAPEX, OpEx, human capital, new product introductions, and inorganic acquisition or partnership opportunities
  • Innovate financial and operational reports that enable data driven insights and analytics
  • Implement process improvements across functions, teams, and sites to enhance financial operations efficiency.

A day in the Life:

  • This role is the #1 finance partner to the General Manager of the business (BPG > PPA > PA.
  • This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of PPA Finance and is a member of the Pharma Analytics leadership team, inclusive of attending quarterly, cross-functional face-to-face meetings
  • Work closely with teams from different departments to identify system requirements, develop creative solutions, and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Enable analytics and data-driven insights to rapidly resolve invoice disputes.

Keys to Success:

To succeed in this role, previous experience in finance and a solid grasp of financial principles are essential. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to explain intricate financial concepts to diverse audiences are essential traits.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in finance or related roles.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing data validation processes
  • Experience in successfully developing reporting and implementing process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Extensive understanding of financial principles and recommended approaches.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools, including financial systems such as HFM, relational databases, PowerBI and Excel.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
