Job Description

Responsibilities:

• The individual in this position is responsible for metabolomics application field of Orbitrap Astral and other HRMS or QQQ instruments.
• Working closely with commercial and technical support team to drive LSMS business growth, especially focus on Orbitrap Astral for demo samples analysis, solution development, customer training and support at customer site, marketing activities, et al;
• Deeply supporting and collaborating with KOLs for frontier application development.
• Collecting competitor solutions and communicate with commercial team and BU teams.
• Publishing application notes in support of local and global mass spectrometry business.

• Master or above majored in Proteomics or metabolomics, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry related, PhD with hands on LC-MS techniques for proteomics application is highly preferred.
• At least 3~5 years of metabolomics applications/method development experience directly related to Triple Quadrupole and High Resolution Accurate Mass Spectrometry instrumentation.
• This position requires extensive contact with customers and outstanding written and oral communication skills are required.
• Work independently with little supervision and a strong work ethic.
• Base in Shanghai, about 30% or more of business trips.
