Feasibility Site Specialist (FSS)
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Feasibility Site Specialist (FSS). As an FSS, you will have the unique opportunity to represent Thermo Fisher Scientific in the global medical research community and be the main point of contact for potential investigative sites through the feasibility process. You will play a crucial role in developing collaborative relationships with investigators and site personnel to conduct feasibility assessments within deliverable timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate feasibility intelligence collection based on study needs.
- Vet local site lists to ensure they reflect the defined site profile.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to quality and compliance.
- Maintain current investigator and site staff contact details in CRG systems.
- Collect and document all communication attempts and follow-ups with sites in real time.
- Review survey data for logical and complete responses, and communicate with sites to clarify any information.
- Achieve targeted response goals for assigned projects.
- Ensure an efficient plan is in place for site contact and follow-up.
- Act as the local expert on site capacity and expertise.
- Conduct phone interviews with physicians and site personnel to obtain protocol-level input.
- Conduct on-site feasibility visits.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective global strategic feasibility processes.
- Apply local knowledge to identify and develop new sites within the local market.
- Collect data from sites on capabilities such as electronic medical records and remote source document verification.

Requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 0-2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality of documentation.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Good computer skills and ability to learn software.
- Fluency in local language and good command of English.
- Basic medical/therapeutic area and medical terminology knowledge.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Basic organizational and planning skills.
- Basic knowledge of local health systems.
- Ability to attain and maintain a working knowledge of GCP and applicable SOPs.
