Facility Specialist II - Electrician

Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:

  • Working in compliance with legislation and IMS (required for all)
  • Keeps all design electrical documentation up to date to construction in order (keep records of all relevant as built documentation in paper and electronic version on company server.)
  • Project management (design, cost estimates, planning, executions, supervising and handover)
  • Prepare and coordinate tenders for construction works, request price quotation and order, supervises suppliers, invoice checking and approval.
  • Lead all aspects of building maintenance incorporating external areas, including winter and summer maintenance.
  • Supervise of maintenance technicians in means of electrical maintenance
  • Prepares, follow and secure preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
  • FM Global insurance company support with requirements, report all risks based on their regulations

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong business digital literacy, MS Office package, AutoCAD
  • Communicative English level - verbal and written form

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of wiring, circuits and other electrical components
  • Ability to perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair electrical problems
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective time management
  • Strong work ethic
  • Understanding of local and national codes, regulations and safety procedures
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects and other team members
  • Demonstrate excellent communications skills and ability to work and influence all level of management.
  • Hands on facilities operational skills
  • Demonstrate knowledge of regulations, codes, standards, and safety - this includes local engineering procedures and practices as applicable.
