Position Summary

This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties for the business, This includes Leading your own team and ensuring all jobs are completed on time and at the highest standards this is including: picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, making sure buildings are secure, cleaning windows, and minor building maintenance and repairs. You will be responsible for providing direct support to the facility as a whole inside and outside the clean room spaces. This position is the front-line defence for high quality in the final product. Arranging and leading the team to complete all cleaning within the clean room and liaising with production to ensure that minimum down time has been used to complete the task

What you will do

  • Ensure that utility services are operated and maintained according to all applicable regulatory agency requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out line management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, coaching, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Enter incident reports, variances and associated CAPAs.
  • Administer, document and maintain the Quality Systems conformance to regulatory requirements and company policies where appropriate through effective utilization of Trackwise and other Quality Systems tools, as well as direct actions.
  • Monitor and manage daily waste and fresh IPA transfers, including receipt of IPA to be recovered and streams to be stripped.
  • Review and sign all daily logs, check sheets.
  • Order all necessary chemicals, reagents, hardware and other supplies for areas of responsibility.
  • Ensures equipment is properly isolated through the use of LOTO prior to performing repairs, modifications or cleaning
  • Document in SAP. All repair requests, purchase requisitions, Reservations and Recovered Solvent batches.
  • Monitor and respond to all Fire protection systems and alarms.
  • Assist Safety and Security with troubleshooting and restoration.
  • Ensure safe and proper plan restoration in event of any and all outages.
  • Enforce housekeeping requirements.
  • Address and respond to all off hour Fire Control and Environmental issues as they arise.
  • Follow all safety and cGMP requirements.
  • Cleans inside clean rooms following Clean Room best practices and written procedures to meet compliance standards.
  • Perform on-call and after hours emergency cleaning activities as required.
  • Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement), Lean and Continuous Improvement, and 5S activities.
  • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • May oversee and/or assist with snow removal activities.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
