How will you make an impact:

Evaluate SAP work requests and preventative maintenance to develop an organized approach to performing work within the facilities department. Review preventive maintenance (PM) data to evaluate MTBF strategies and implement root cause failure analysis (RCFA) plans. Generate SAP work orders to document detailed repair activities for multiple buildings. Maintain a collaborative relationship with plant personnel to identify deficiencies in a proactive manner and prevent unnecessary breakdowns. Analyze plant systems and equipment, to develop comprehensive maintenance plans for prolonged, continuous operation. Be proficient in computer based programs and computerized maintenance management systems related to plant operations, training, documentation and communications systems. Provide Facilities systems expertise and documentation during regulatory inspections both internal and external. Prioritize maintenance activities to prevent unsafe working conditions and minimize downtime on critical systems. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to order replacement parts and schedule maintenance activities. Review Stockroom inventory to identify and remove outdated and obsolete parts. Rigorously carry out adherence to safety, environmental, and GMP practices in day-to-day operations with emphasis on quality and compliance. Requires effective communication through verbal and written actions. Works well in a team-based environment with limited supervision, oversight, and available on weekends and holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan preventative maintenance, maintain daily, weekly, monthly work schedules to drive PM's to completion.
  • Generate, assign, and process work orders. Review high priority orders for timely completion and minimal plant interruptions.
  • Coordinate and implement daily work schedules, dispatch personnel to critical tasks.
  • Generate and modify PM's and maintenance procedures to adapt to changing environment.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities around production schedules while ensuring safety and GMP compliance.
  • Respond to internal communications to provide technical and mechanical assistance.
  • Process and coordinate PM & WO completion and document timely completion.
  • Generate departmental correspondence to communicate critical changes to daily routine and non -routine activities.
  • Conduct regular in the field inspections of Facilities spaces and update PM & WOs as needed to ensure complete coverage.

Frequent Contacts:

  • Facilities and Production Department personnel interactions for planning and scheduling planned maintenance and unplanned repair activities.
  • Contractors and outside Vendors for Scheduling repair and maintenance activities and ordering of repair parts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Qualified applicants will have 3 years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
  • Ability to properly respond to common inquiries or customer complaints, including regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Background in industrial, mechanical systems and operations, and computer systems.
  • Possess Outstanding communicating skills and the ability to maintain a collaborative and mutually beneficial working relationship with internal customers and subordinates.
  • Experience in GMP plant operations and practices.
  • Be proficient in (SAP) Maintenance Management System and other computer based technologies.
  • Must have knowledge of, or be willing and able to train in, advancements in predictive maintenance.
  • Support continuous improvement through active participation in plant efficiency programs.
  • Comply and actively participate in all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Perform area housekeeping duties.
  • Work in all types of environments, conditions associated with job in all seasons.
  • Indoor/outdoor, physical environment.
  • Respond to common inquiries/complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or team members.
