Job Description

DUTIES:

Develop and test analytical technologies for defect localization and microscopy technologies.
Work with senior engineers to conduct proof-of-concept studies and to develop product concepts.
Develop product prototypes and test them.
Interface effectively with multidisciplinary engineering colleagues to ensure that product requirements are properly understood and implemented in the prototype according to the specifications.
Work with product applications engineers and marketing to understand unmet needs and requirements in those domains.
Support operations and applications team to resolve customer issues.

Create and test nanotechnology and nano-probing products.
Carry out validation experiments.

Travel: Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM Education Requirement: Master's degree in Engineering Management, Physical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study. MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 2 years of experience in Systems Design, or related experience.

Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, Physical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in Systems Design, or related experience.

Required knowledge or experience with:
Semiconductor IC process technology and nano-fabrication;
Experience in design, setup and execution of experiments including optics, electronics, measurement systems;
One or more of the following technologies: FIB, SEM and NIR imaging;
Data analysis, including statistical methods; and
System level diagnosis and debugging.

Salary: $145205.28 to $168700 per year

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $145,205.28-$168,700.00.
