The Engineer III, Manufacturing Engineering (CAPEX) role presents an outstanding opportunity to be at the forefront of capital engineering projects. You will be part of an ambitious environment where your contributions will directly impact the success of various high-impact projects. With proven methodologies and a collaborative team, you'll play a key role in successfully implementing solutions that compete on a global scale.

A day in the Life:

  • Lead small capital projects with a wide range of design requirements.
  • Direct projects and project teams ensuring all vital activities occur as agreed to by the customer.
  • Develop and maintain a master project schedule that will cover from the Basis Of Design (BOD) through validation and handover.
  • Drive the (BOD) development for facility utility packages, equipment installations, plant upgrades, and support the estimating process.
  • Drive the design and development of drawings and construction packages for facility builds.
  • Ensure accountability and management of engineering firms and construction contractors.
  • Prepare and present project updates to executive levels and steering committees.
  • Write site change requests and support User Requirements Specification (URS) development, with a preference for candidates with URS or equivalent experience.
  • Handle all financial aspects for your assigned projects.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.

Experience

  • Three or more years of experience in CAPEX Engineering or facility construction.
  • Preference for Pharmaceutical or Aseptic industries.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent understanding of quality and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry, including pharmaceutical cGMP.
  • Proficient with computer software packages, including Microsoft Windows-based applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Project, Internet Explorer, etc.) as these packages are used routinely.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
