Job Description

Join our team as a crucial player responsible for the Electrical and Electronics design of lab equipment and manufacturing transfer. Work closely with marketing, project management, engineering, and scientific teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a highly-skilled R&D team, playing a key role in analytical instrument design.
  • Responsible for electrical and electronics design, assembly, testing, and developing technical documents, including schematics capture and printed circuit board layout design documents.
  • Design digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics circuit boards that satisfy design requirements.
  • Ensure design performance meets requirements, aligns with manufacturability and serviceability standards, and achieves cost and reliability goals.
  • Design products to meet EMC compliance certification and safety requirements.
  • Develop evaluation plans to meet the products' overall performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Collaboratively handle design reviews with the distributed team, tracking and resolving design issues associated with the products independently.

Educational Qualification:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of meaningful work experience.

Skill Requirements/Experience:

  • Prior experience with design, testing, and solving of functional systems.
  • Proficiency in PADS for schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Knowledge of USA and EU regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience with communication protocols such as USB, Modbus, RS232, and Ethernet.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate efficiently in a fast-paced product development environment with multiple projects at different stages.
  • Strong ability to understand and tackle complex design challenges both independently and as part of a design team.
  • Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, and documentation skills.
