Role & Responsibilities:

  • Perform Electron Microscope (EM) product demonstrations, including the development of new techniques and applications for Thermo Fisher partners and customers.
  • Encouraging positive customer relationships and acting as a high-level customer interface for specific instrument/applications issues, explaining sophisticated technology details, giving in depth technical presentations, and assisting in applications development.
  • Assist standard acceptance test & customer acceptance test for new installed tools.
  • Deliver professional tool operation and application support during post sales cycle and after instrument has been installed.
  • Provide continuous feedback to product groups on system performance, features, and potential problems while collaborating with marketing/development groups on future product developments.
  • Get familiar with failure analysis process in Semiconductor industry and understand customers' HVPs
  • Accumulating technical experience to polish current existing BKMs or generate innovative methods.

The Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

  • Typically requires preferred MS degree in semiconductor, micro-electronics, physics, material science, or electrical engineering with strong semiconductor background.
  • Knowledge and recent hands-on experience with Electrical Microscope (EM), such as, SEM, TEM or FIB, is helpful. Knowledge of sophisticated analytical techniques is desirable.
  • 2 years+ work or research experience in semiconductor/ EM industry is preferable.
  • Good at self-study and well time management
  • Knowledge on semiconductor devices/ materials/ process flow is good plus
  • Knowledge on Matlab, C/ C++, or Python is preferred
  • Proficient Chinese and English interpersonal and technical writing skills
  • Please expect about 35% travelling rate
