The Position
As an Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you have the unique opportunity to work on advanced technology that is redefining the field of electron microscopy. - Documenting all development work and creating unit and regression tests to ensure the reliability of our sophisticated software.
- Maintaining development tools and other technologies to ensure they are always in good shape.
- Sharing your ideas and knowledge with colleagues across departments and mentoring others when applicable.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- A demonstrated ability in software development, with a proven track record of successfully implementing sophisticated projects.
- Excellent knowledge of C#, with the ability to write efficient and well-structured code.
- Familiarity with image processing algorithms and their application.
- Proficiency in English at the B2 level or above, enabling effective communication with colleagues from a wide range of experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as collaboration and teamwork are essential for us.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Flexibility to balance your work between development, maintenance, and bug-fixing, ensuring the smooth operation of our software.
