Responsibilities

  • Define the scope of software testing within the context of each software release and support execution.
  • Write detailed test plans including strategies, objectives, phases, scenarios, and test environments.
  • Implement test cases during the development cycle and formal product validation.
  • Conduct sophisticated software testing activities independently within a team.
  • Provide end-to-end testing, with a focus on medical equipment validation as an added advantage.

Candidate Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Technical Proficiencies

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in embedded software testing in a validated environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining functional and regression test suites.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse, global teams and within a global matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of lab measuring equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, TC simulators, and voltage sources.
  • Familiarity with emulators, debuggers, and simulators for microcontrollers.
  • Proven ability to address issues, resolve root causes of defects, and improve processes.
  • Knowledge of software quality control methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams throughout the toll-gate process.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and facilitate problem-solving and quality improvements.
