Position Summary

Under the direction of the Product Engineering Supervisor, the position will establish SKUs for released bioprocess container (BPC) drawings into the ERP system. This position will also complete maintenance activities within the ERP system to keep data and structure clear and up to date. Fulfil Oracle requests that come in from various departments. Use of business systems and tools in the creation of specifications, item masters, BOM's, routings, and all other manufacturing documentation is critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate released drawings into Item Masters, BOM's, Routings, and work instructions
  • Analyze labor variance reports and update Oracle as needed
  • Independently fulfil Oracle requests from other departments within Thermo Fisher
  • Provide frequent maintenance of ERP system to ensure data integrity
  • Support the component specification process
  • Complete Master Control approval tasks for sub-assemblies and finished goods
  • Create and maintains department work instructions and training documents
  • Participate in process improvement through data driven activities
  • Embrace the 4 I's, Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement in all daily activities

Minimum Qualifications

A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal skills as part of a multi-functional team and should have proven planning, analytical and problem-solving abilities. The candidate should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Two years of experience working in a professional work environment
  • Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Proficiency with MS Office products with expertise in Excel
  • Experience in analyzing data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems
  • Two years of experience using Oracle and Master Control software
