Key Responsibilities:
- Perform flawless installation and commissioning of nucleonic thickness gauges at customer sites, including remote support.
- Successfully implement service strategies to generate revenue, ensuring the renewal and upkeep of service contracts and the sale of spare parts.
- Handle radioactive and X-ray sources with proven expertise in thickness measurement principles, including transmission, backscatter, and fluorescence.
- Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments, install and remove radioactive sources, verify performance parameters, and establish process control parameters with consistent focus on safety protocols.
- Apply logical, analytical, and technical diagnostic skills for quick problem resolution, performing root cause analysis to determine solutions.
- Apply interpersonal and social skills to tackle challenging customer concerns and improve customer happiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in Customer Allegiance Score (CAS) and generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain strong control and process application knowledge across various industries, including metal processing, web printing, plastics, float glass, rubber, coal, cement, and minerals.
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations when servicing nucleonic gauges.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
- AERB certification on Radiation Safety Aspect of Nucleonic Gauges.
- 5-10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, servicing, and repair of nucleonic gauges.
- Experience handling isotopes, lasers, neutron generators, and X-ray sources.
- Proficiency in DOS, Office, Windows OS, and communication protocols (RS232/485/422, TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, OPC, Modbus).
- Strong written and oral communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Proven excellence in customer communication and handling.
- Ability to travel frequently and stay for extended periods as required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Nationwide travel as per customer requirements & business needs. Handle a region, exposure to Eastern region support.

- Knowledge of measurement principles transmission, backscatter & Florescence
- Hands-on exposure to mechanical adjustments/alignment of the Thermo Fisher frame.
- Installation & Dismantling of Thermo Fisher Thickness Gauges
