Our Energy Engineer works within our dynamic EHS team to develop and implement innovative energy savings and CO2 reduction solutions. This role is based at our award winning Cork facility, which leads the way in industry standards.

A day in the Life:

  • Conduct energy audits and analyze energy and CO2 use
  • Develop and implement energy-saving and CO2 reduction strategies to meet our 2050 goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of projects
  • Own and maintain accreditation to ISO50001

Keys to Success:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Outstanding communication and project management skills

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Mechanical or Electirical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • Certified Energy Manager preferred, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in energy engineering
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing energy-saving and CO2 reduction initiatives
  • Experience with energy audit tools and software

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of energy systems and technologies
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to determine and implement energy-efficient solutions
