Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of new applications for our Instrument suite.
  • Participate in product development for existing and new products.
  • Perform all phases of software development including design documentation, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of software.
  • Interact with verification and validation teams to build test requirements based on system software requirements and design.
  • Support manufacturing through product testing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
  • Skilled in hardware design, board bring-up, and debugging of embedded systems using C, C++, and Python.
  • Proven expertise in C/C++, Java, Python, OpenCV, and Video drivers.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with teams from various backgrounds, both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities to manage responsibilities efficiently.
  • Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M, PIC, AVR, or other microcontroller families.
  • Knowledge of source code management and experience with Test Driven Development in an Agile environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Linux operating systems.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Connecticut is $95,900.00-$115,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
