We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist who can provide the leadership needed to continue developing our bold digital strategies. You will develop and run omni-channel marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketo to drive customer acquisition, retention and engagement. As a qualified candidate will be responsible for implementing integrated campaigns and driving the adoption of standardized processes. You will also play a key role in implementing segmentation strategies, building robust customer journeys, and establishing engagement scoring and dashboards. A Day in the Life:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing automation strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, using market trends and competitor activity insights.
  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and maintenance, ensuring high availability and reliability of marketing automation infrastructure.
  • Monitor marketing automation platform performance and apply data analysis techniques to evaluate product and market performance, making data-driven decisions.
  • Lead vendor relationships and be responsible for the development of specific projects, driving toward end-state architecture for all data flows and integrations.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations & Analytics teams to forecast capacity needs and project execution for roll-out of marketing automation strategies ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Understand audience and digital marketing teams' needs resolving issues and delivering outstanding experiences through optimal campaign execution and reporting.
  • Establish standard methodologies for efficient campaign execution, driving maximum return on investment and increasing conversions from campaigns.

Keys to Success:

  • Be responsible for the management and optimization of marketing technologies, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools, to enhance customer engagement and drive business growth.
  • Develop and supervise an optimized digital strategy to drive engagement and customer acquisition.
  • Work with internal teams to translate business needs into technical execution for direct mail (email) campaigns: including targeted, nurture and trigger email programs.
  • Advises marketing campaign requestors of best practices with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing and projected results.
  • Build and implement marketing campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketo (Adobe Experience Platform) - activities include but not limited to, campaign flow builds, email creation, outbound landing page creation, form creation, and media placement tracking.
  • Ensure brand compliance.
  • Continue to develop through marketing automation education & participation in online communities to enhance learning opportunities.
  • Build and maintain HTML templates, landing pages and forms.
  • Ensure compliance with PDX, SDG and corporate policies.
  • Documents PDX regulatory approval in system.
  • Run and report analytical tracking and performance.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in marketing automation strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated environment and or life sciences a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading platform launches.
  • Thorough understanding of platform integration, DevOps with agile and lean methodologies driving iterative & incremental product development.
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or other Marketing Automation System is preferred. Eloqua Master is a plus
  • Understanding of key digital marketing strategies and concepts.
  • Proven understanding of HTML and CSS strongly preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% including occasional weekends and international travel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to advise marketing strategies and optimize execution.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that lend to effective cross-functional collaboration across teams.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to prioritize and run multiple initiatives simultaneously, while ensuring deadlines and goals are met.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Minnesota is $76,000.00-$113,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
