Job Description

Here at Thermo Fisher Scientific ., we offer a unique opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work on developing innovative analog, digital, and mixed signal electronics systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design sophisticated analog, digital, and mixed electronics.
  • Technically lead complex projects consisting of multiple modules.
  • Coordinate and mentor other electronics engineers on sub-modules.
  • Define and collaborate on the interfaces of sophisticated sub-systems.
  • Engage in the preparation and execution of R&D projects with a high level of expertise in crafting electronics.
  • Act as a technical lead for third parties, preparing specifications, providing mentorship, technical supervision, and archiving outsourced designs.
  • Engage in conceptual thinking, architectural decision-making, interface definitions, and crafting high-level design documents.
  • Lead verification, problem-solving, and integration of electronics modules.
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers, particularly CPLD and FPGA hardware designers, and other R&D groups worldwide.
  • Promote innovations and advancements in technology.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or PhD in electronics engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an R&D or industrial environment.
  • Proven ability to technically lead sophisticated projects with multiple modules/PCBs.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills.
  • Outstanding track record and expertise in crafting electronics, participating in technical discussions, and resolving technical issues.
  • Deep knowledge of analog and digital electronics to craft low noise high precision electronics is preferable.
  • Experience crafting high voltage up to 20 kV low power supplies is an advantage.
  • Proficient in English (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in an international environment.
