As the Director Strategy, APJ, you will play a crucial role in identifying growth drivers and challenges across our diverse portfolio of businesses in the APJ region. Collaborating with our Strategy & Commercial Operations teams, GEOs, businesses, and functions, you will support and help implement key strategic projects that have a significant impact on our business in the region. Your strategic thought leadership and project management skills will be crucial in analyzing new business initiatives, both organic and M&A related, and driving cross-divisional initiatives across Thermo Fisher.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate organic and inorganic strategy development across Thermo Fisher's businesses in the APJ region, considering equivalent experience as a valuable asset.
  • Lead competitive and market analysis, providing insights and recommendations
  • Project manage and lead 'special projects' advancing strategic priorities
  • Develop materials for executive-level forums, such as Board of Directors meetings
  • Identify industry trends and evaluate white space opportunities
  • Implement commercial excellence roadmap, supporting project teams

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business, life sciences, or related field
  • 10-15 years of relevant professional experience, including strategy and market/financial analysis
  • Excellent critical thinking, project management, and communication skills
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and ability to work with details and the big picture
  • Strong collaborative and influencing skills
