The job:

The Director of Operations role entails leading manufacturing activities and driving operational excellence at our Swindon site. Reporting to the Site General Manager, you will develop strategies to integrate operational teams and achieve ambitious goals, surpassing customer expectations.

This role is fully site-based (5 days pw) at our Swindon, UK site. We are open to providing visa sponsorship & relocation support to the right candidate.

What will you do?

  • Manage the production plan to meet client forecasts
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Coordinate financial management and recovery plans
  • Lead talent and team management
  • Influence site strategy and decision-making

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with 7+ years leading operational teams
  • Extensive knowledge of sterile injectable manufacturing and cGMP conditions
  • Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills
  • Proficient in English
