Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and exceptional individual to join our team as a Director, Bioprocessing Technology Advisor based in Korea. Position Summary:

The Bioprocessing Workflow Advisor (BWA) is a member of the BioProduction Group's Innovation Leadership team who, in coordination with the Commercial organization, works with key technical leaders in the customer organizations to provide technical advice on the design, development, scale-up, and technology transfer of processes in a variety of customer modality workflows. BWA will have clear accountability for product/workflow adoption metrics that are in alignment with the commercial organization. An expert in the CMC aspects of drug development and commercialization, the BWA works closely with the customers, understands their current and future needs for the specific product as well as their pipeline, and provides both strategic and tactical advice on addressing those needs, both in the development and manufacture of biologics. The BWA will have a strong understanding of BPG products to provide opportunities for the customer to choose the best-in-class technologies to meet their needs. BWA will align closely with the commercial organization to identify potential customers to engage with and translate the engagement into actionable opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product management team and drive the development of innovative bioprocessing technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine market trends and customer needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to successfully introduce new products and stimulate market growth.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring flawless and efficient use of our products
  • Compete in a fast-paced environment to continuously improve and expand our product portfolio

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of success in product management within the biotechnology industry
  • Strong knowledge of bioprocessing technologies and the ability to determine market opportunities
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Strong motivation and determination to achieve and surpass business objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with equivalent experience also considered
