The Position

In R&D Software Engineering Tools and Infrastructure team we are responsible for supporting all software engineering teams within R&D. We are a distributed team handling infrastructure, configuration management, software tooling, process automation and developer support for the R&D organization. Join us and help us with our mission - to make world heathier, cleaner and safer!

Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD and automation pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab
  • Make sure all parts of build pipeline work seamlessly together from the build environment creation until artifacts archival
  • develop scripts for automation and software development support
  • collaborate with software development and test teams to understand their needs and support the goals of R&D in creating high-quality software
  • Transfer ideas into planning and architecture models

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar (or equivalent experience)
  • Understanding of git and branching strategies
  • Working experience with Artifactory, Nexus or other repository manager, CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab PIpelines, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with configuration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and Linux systems administration
  • Experience with virtualization platforms and cloud technologies (VMware, OpenStack, Azure, AWS)
  • Proficient in English

Bonus skills:

  • Working experience with K8s and containers
  • Experience with monitoring tools

Competencies:

  • Support software development organization in their effort of delivering software products
  • Collaborate in the global SETI team and improve processes and services we provide
