Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced problem-solving techniques to provide tailored solutions to our customers' individual needs.
  • Learn and use groundbreaking technologies.
  • Work directly with Engineering Database Administrators to help resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to automate processes and procedures for new database environments.
  • Leverage your customer support experience to provide feedback to our business users.
  • Communicate and collaborate with users to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
  • Work with users to identify key issues, repetitive problems under the direction of project leaders.
  • Liaise between the business, technology teams, and support teams.
  • Participate in the Service Desk function to resolve user-related support calls.

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in a dynamic environment, with a strong emphasis on database services.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, or 2019, Management Studios.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, Windows.
  • Experience with Windows Cluster, AlwaysOn, replication, or active/passive database clusters.
  • Experience with operational tasks and customer focus.
  • Experience with systems development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery at both OS and database levels.
  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment and independently.
