Position Summary:
As a Customer Success Account Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will have the outstanding opportunity to drive growth and foster relationships with our valued customers. - The Customer Success Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining positive connections with clients, ensuring flawless execution of sales strategies.
- You will work collaboratively with internal teams to identify areas for growth and successfully implement initiatives that improve customer experience.
- You will be responsible for understanding and addressing our clients' short, mid, and long-term goals, ensuring a smooth experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific.

What will you do:
- Manage the EMEA customer base MSD VDS software sales strategy for the maintenance renewal business and develop new business by working closely directly with customers and distributors
- Develop and complete sales strategies to achieve revenue goals within the EMEA
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring outstanding customer service and happiness.
- Regularly meet and update collaborators and customers about business activities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, with a focus on growing the breadth of our portfolio.
- Collaborate with service and application teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of training and consulting services.
- Work closely with sales, technical support, and other departments to provide clients with needed resources and information.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Essential
- At least 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally in software sales
- A degree or equivalent experience in business, sciences, or a relevant field.
- A strong collaborator who can also work independently and remotely.
- Outstanding communication and intercultural skills.
- Proven track record of success in a sales role
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Ability to lead and manage complex negotiations
- Excellent business planning and organisational skills, proactive nature
- Willing to travel throughout the UK and internationally (up to 25%).
- Desire to meet and exceed sales targets in a complex and very competitive environment.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced high volume and high-velocity sales organisation
Preferred
- Proficient in English.
- Ability to communicate confidently and concisely in various formats to diverse audiences.
- Experience in selling software or services to Life and material science markets
- Demonstrated experience managing high-value accounts and leading customer relationships
