What will you do:

  • Manage the EMEA customer base MSD VDS software sales strategy for the maintenance renewal business and develop new business by working closely directly with customers and distributors
  • Develop and complete sales strategies to achieve revenue goals within the EMEA
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring outstanding customer service and happiness.
  • Regularly meet and update collaborators and customers about business activities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, with a focus on growing the breadth of our portfolio.
  • Collaborate with service and application teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of training and consulting services.
  • Work closely with sales, technical support, and other departments to provide clients with needed resources and information.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Essential

  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally in software sales
  • A degree or equivalent experience in business, sciences, or a relevant field.
  • A strong collaborator who can also work independently and remotely.
  • Outstanding communication and intercultural skills.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales role
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Ability to lead and manage complex negotiations
  • Excellent business planning and organisational skills, proactive nature
  • Willing to travel throughout the UK and internationally (up to 25%).
  • Desire to meet and exceed sales targets in a complex and very competitive environment.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced high volume and high-velocity sales organisation

Preferred

  • Proficient in English.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and concisely in various formats to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in selling software or services to Life and material science markets
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-value accounts and leading customer relationships
