Are you an exceptionally skilled and ambitious Engineer seeking a new challenge? Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a world-class company in the field of scientific solutions, is currently looking for a Customer Care Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical service, installation, operation, training, and repair of Ion chromatography & HPLC equipment.
  • Conduct product installations and demonstrate features related to 21 CFR compliance under the CDS software.
  • Offer training and technical advice on instrument use, both in person and by phone.
  • Investigate challenges and identify faults, offering solutions or coordinating necessary repairs.
  • Act as a vital link between customers and the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Monitor repairs and suggest product improvements.
  • Perform planned maintenance calls and regular customer visits.
  • Make recommendations regarding spare parts requirements.
  • Achieve assigned spares and service revenue targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Biotechnology, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for successful collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize service requests and produce clear documentation.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in technical and support approach.
  • Capability to collaborate closely with customers, gaining insights into their challenges and driving regional commercial success.
  • Build rapport with customers and educate them on maintenance contract entitlements and procurement of PM kits annually.
