We are currently looking for CS Associate Finance Analyst to join our Finance Team in Manila who can chip in to the achievement of financial and business objectives through accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting. Works cross-functionally with CDSD operations, Commercial and Ops Finance to support in resolving issues related to any of the following: revenue, costs, contract values, billing, balance sheet management, financial reporting, financial tools, and processes.

Functions:

• Performs administrative functions in support of Operations Finance ensuring timely, quality, and consistent report.

• Assist in financial management of project portfolio and/or special assignments.

• Support in preparation of contract modifications, change notifications, contract values, and contract deliverables.

• Prepares payment schedules and generate reports for invoicing backups and maintaining cash neutrality.

• Coordinates with other staff to ensure sponsors are invoiced in a timely and accurate manner; all amounts are collected; any remaining final balances are appropriately cleared; and/or the agreed financial processes are followed.

• Completes month-end and closeout related activities.

• Assist on documentation and reporting for audit compliance.

• Tracks and maintains project information and budgets within the project accounting system.

• Run reports for internal and external meeting

Job Complexity: Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualification.

• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).

• In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients.

• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results.

• Good analytical and quantitative skills and ability to handle data efficiently.

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Good interpersonal and project administration skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs is an advantage.

• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Detail oriented with analytical thinking and problem-solving demeanor.

• Sound knowledge of accounting/financial principles and regulations/legal requirements, for roles with more accounting focus a professional accounting qualification - ACCA / CPA / CIMA or equivalent will be an advantage.

Management Role: No management responsibility

Working Conditions and Environment:

• Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.

• Long hours may be required, including a few hours overlap with UK/US time-zone on a few days on month-end.

• Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.

• Repetitive hand movement of both hands and make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

• Frequent mobility required.

• Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

• Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.

• Frequently interacts with diverse organizations to obtain or relate information.

• Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Requires multiple periods of driven concentration.

• Performs a wide range of variable tasks needed by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task.

• Regular and consistent attendance.
