Job Description

As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for contract renewals of service products related to our Laboratory Equipment portfolio in our North and South EMEA regions by supervising a small team of contract renewal specialists. Additionally you have some direct responsibility for new business development. Approximate time split would be 75% on contract renewals business and 25% business development activities. This portfolio includes Centrifuges, Scientific Cold Storage, CO2 Incubators, Biosafety cabinets, and other products. You will primarily focus on services such as preventative maintenance contracts, installations and compliance services. This remote based customer facing position requires approximately 10% travel with occasional overnight stays. Must be fluent in English and French.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise contract renewal business effectively to develop and provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking. Use effectively Salesforce, SAP, and other designated IT tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the wider Sales team, Customer care team and Field Service teams to align service offerings with client expectations, delivering outstanding customer happiness.
  • Lead the contract renewal team, own business reporting and deliver timely contract renewals. Use CRM systems for efficient management.
  • Lead tenders, with support from your team including crafting quotations, gaining approvals, submitting, and tracking win/loss.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both our sales channels and clients, understanding their needs to propose tailored service solutions and support contract renewals.
  • Lead sales discussions with customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that meet both company objectives and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the client base and enter new markets, using market insights and consumer trends.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Sales Team Management experience, contract renewal business experience preferred
  • Consistent proven track record of successful sales achievement, with a keen focus on customers.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing systems to supervise and report on sales metrics to enable effective management of the team.
  • Ability to analyse data to provide clear and concise upwards reporting and drive decisions to move forward the business.
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems, with a strong preference for Salesforce.com and SAP.
