Job Description

General purpose of the position:

This position involves operational activities, execution in systems and/or processes that are routine. It may require specialized training, but does not require an advanced level of independent work, judgment, and/or decision-making.

Performs basic tasks in the accounting, finance, and customer service area of the organization. Generates routine reports, completes forms, and responds to general inquiries according to the specified requirements.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provides back-office service to internal clients and analysts: processes documents; creates document tracking requests for internal client inquiries; transfer different cases to the appropriate department or person for accurate resolution; retrieves documentation for internal client requests; and provides leadership team with information on significant issues that arise.
  • Contributes to quality control by reviewing documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures; adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance; notifies management of quality issues or concerns; and shares recommendations for process improvement.
  • Completes assigned work and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, internal clients, and other partners in the processes; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; adapts and learns from change, challenges, and feedback provided.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical and integrity standards by implementing related action plans; using the open-door policy; and applying them in process execution.
  • Maintains involvement and communication through email with internal clients involved in the processes.
  • Provides support and fulfills any other requests required by the company.

Basic Requirements (essential):

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the accounting/finance field.
  • Experience in Shared Service Centers.
  • English level B1+.
  • MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - basic+ Excel.
  • Experience in at least one ERP system (Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, and/or Mainframe).
