About the Role
The Collection Analyst supports collections and cash application teams through data analysis, reporting, and training. This role is responsible for preparing timely reports, conducting account-level analyses, and delivering actionable recommendations to enhance collections processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting: Prepare accurate weekly, biweekly, and ad hoc reports; maintain dashboards to track collections and cash flow performance.
- Data Analysis: Perform account-level analyses to identify risks, trends, and discrepancies; recommend process improvements.
- Team Support: Train team members on tools and best practices; address skill gaps with tailored guidance and materials.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and assist in implementing tools to streamline workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2-3 years in collections, accounts receivable, or data analysis; experience in training or support is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), strong analytical and communication skills, and attention to detail.
