Job Description

How will you make an impact?
The Client Services Project Manager III supports the BID Custom Media business, with a focus on Cell and Gene Therapy customers. Our team works closely with the customer and commercial teams to ensure their custom media requirements are met. We manage cross-functional execution of projects and orders, focusing on relationship-building and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will apply basic principles, concepts, practices and standards of the cell culture field to complete a variety of ongoing projects, working on problems of moderate scope while exercising judgment and independently identifying next steps; build productive internal/external relationships; actively represent our team in inter-departmental projects, and impact team effectiveness through the quality of your work.

Responsibilities

• Support the customer through the custom request(s) from inquiry to order, bringing in various experts from feasibility, packaging and operations, with the goal of transitioning from pilot scale productions to cGMP manufacturing.

• Educate customers on our processes to help meet their expectations, instill customer loyalty, and secure business.

• Partner with the business and other internal teams to accurately complete custom requests and ensure Service Level Agreements and requested delivery dates are met for all customer orders.

• Work with interfacing functions to ensure timely and accurate processing and delivery of orders (Feasibility, Packaging, Finance, PMO team members, Customer Service).

• Provide regular status updates to ensure that the Commercial team and Product Management are fully informed of the status of orders and projects, confirm necessary communications are taking place between our customer and internal partners.

• Run reports, analyze data, develop presentations, support and/or lead customer calls, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

How will you get here?

Education

• Requires B.S./B.A. in the Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or another Life Science

• M.S. or Ph.D. is helpful.

Experience

• Proven ability in a technical role in the biotechnology industry for 5+ years.

• Hands-on experience working with customers for 3+ years.

• Experience in cell culture media preferred.

• Candidate should be knowledgeable regarding the Cell and Gene Therapy market.

• Product management and/or project management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Participation in and/or leading cross-functional project teams

• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects

• Preferred skills and abilities: basic project management methodologies, analytical, planning, and problem solving.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $68,200.00-$102,250.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
