CAM, as part of CTD, collaborates with global pharmaceutical and biotech customers to provide ancillary supplies for patients. We prioritize timely and accurate delivery, internally known as "There is a Patient Waiting." Our comprehensive CTD services encompass packaging, labelling, distribution, transportation management, and specialty logistics.

As a Project Manager III, you will independently manage a portfolio of client projects. Your responsibilities include planning, budgeting, monitoring progress, and communicating with clients. Your creative problem-solving skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams are crucial for successful project delivery. You will also prioritize process efficiency and client strategy throughout the project lifecycle.

A Day in the life

  • Independently manages a client portfolio of moderate to strategic or complex projects
  • Be the point of contact for clients overseeing the management of clinical ancillary needs of trials from the client and be the FCS point of contact.
  • Empowered to design the preliminary design of the study and manage the study, end to end
  • Connects and collaborates with key team members within the company and will have direct contact with all internal departments and one on one contact with external customers.
  • Involve internal and external customers, maintain communication, and deliver high-quality work using quality management systems.
  • Participates in Project Meetings at a Fisher Clinical or customer site. Leads and represents the business at kick-off meetings as required by the customer.
  • Leads and facilitates customer teleconferences, visits and audits as required, and provides timely provision of customer reports and updates.
  • Connects and collaborates with Quality Assurance/Regulatory personnel to drive Problem Reports to closure.
  • Appropriately represents and ensures customer needs are properly translated into quotation and has responsibility to monitor and amend the quote and budget as required.
  • Provides accurate and timely financial forecasting and reporting
  • Responsible for revenue recognition for projects and verifies final production information for Accounting Department prior to invoices release.
  • Participates in cross-functional business process improvement activities as required.
  • Connects and collaborates with the account manager to gain overall customer satisfaction.
  • Applies GXP in all areas of responsibility
  • May train, mentor or lead new colleagues on the team.

Project Management

  • Independently manages several medium size and/or complex active projects (number of projects depends on client needs and complexity of projects)
  • Structures project(s) in line with client strategy, inclusive of identifying needs, establishing goals, defining resources requirements and tracking performance. Skilled at identifying gaps and prioritizing improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively diagnoses project challenges, developing solutions and/or overcoming undesirable situations with minimal guidance and may mentor other team members on project resolution.
  • Effectively defines, tracks, and manages budgets and revisions to reflect scope changes and established commitments.
  • Understands customer contract terms & conditions and skilled in negotiation techniques

Client Relationship Management

  • Performs and interprets comprehensive need analyses which reflect an understanding of the customer's target market and value proposition.
  • Knowledgeable of Thermo Fisher's solutions portfolio and communicates company's value proposition in relation to the competition.

Technical Knowledge

  • Demonstrates technical capabilities and subject matter expertise in CAM processes, industry requirements, and problem solving.
  • Designing and implementing strategic plans to forecast and supply ancillaries to global clinical trials, using sound supply chain techniques.
  • Independently leverages and interprets data to ensure successful project results and customer satisfaction.
  • Leads projects efficiently in different systems and maintains accountability for individual and team outcomes
  • Advances the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes, procedures, and outputs.

Project Management Leadership

  • Seeks mentorship and guidance to drive personal development and further strengthen project management.
  • Ensures that all communications are clear, focused, and based on a solid understanding of needs using the most appropriate medium.
  • Works with others to quickly resolve or collaborate on solutions to problems. Facilitates alignment on timelines among cross-functional teams.
  • Takes ownership for project results, fosters respect from team members, and ensures agreement on the overall vision.

Keys to Success:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of Experience:
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in project management or client facing roles; experience in pharma environment preferred but not required
  • 3 years experience acceptable if holding an advanced degree
