Territory: Remote based working from home office - Los Angeles Area and surroundings, up to 50% overnight travel may be required.

Experience & Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation and preventive maintenance of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometer (MS) equipment at customer labs
  • Handle personal parts inventories, complete job tasks and complete service reports using service ticket management software
  • Familiarize customers with instrument functionality, hardware, and software
  • Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer
  • Regularly attend factory provided technical and service training on innovative products developed by Thermo Fisher Scientific
  • Work in conjunction with Service and Sales teams
  • Review customer data and run factory protocols to troubleshoot instrumentation
  • Share diagnostic information with engineering, factory, field service, management, and other personnel to expedite repairs

Preferred Experience

  • Technical knowledge and experience maintaining HPLC, IC, or MS systems.
  • Field Service

Minimum Education & Experience Requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of maintenance on chromatography equipment experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience .

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $25.60-$38.40.
