Position Summary:
The Chemistry Scientist III is part of the Technical Operations team at the Warrington, UK manufacturing site within the Genetic Sciences Division (GSD). The Chemistry Scientist III is responsible for leading technical investigations and validations across our genetic science product portfolio, including, genetic sequencing and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), to ensure the quality of our products. They will also embrace continuous improvement to drive productivity improvements at the site.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and solve problems using analytical thinking, technical tools, and PPI.
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations for out-of-specifications and out-of-trend data.
- Perform non-conforming product and complaint investigations independently, overcoming and resolving roadblocks and barriers.
- Run real-time product and component stability programs against product specifications.
- Meet and continuously improve critical metrics that drive success.
- Leverage functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job.
- Mentor and guide team members in technical operations, encouraging an environment of collaboration and continuous learning.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry or related field.
Experience:
- Experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or GMP environments.
- Demonstrated experience in Manufacturing, or Quality Control.
- Hands-on experience in genetic sequencing and fragment analysis.
- Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and high regard for quality.
- Proficient in prioritising and leading multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must be highly collaborative: enjoys working in a diverse team and contributes to a positive work environment.
- Ability to acknowledge a sense of urgency and adapt to organizational change.
