Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Channel Manager (Science & Industry) at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. As an industry leader in Engineering, we are dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing strategic relationships with our channel partners. Your exceptional leadership and collaboration skills will be crucial in successfully implementing channel strategies and driving revenue growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and implementing channel sales strategies to meet revenue goals
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine market trends and customer needs
  • Providing training and support to channel partners to ensure flawless execution of sales strategies
  • Monitoring and analyzing market and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth

To qualify for this position, you must have proven experience in channel management within the Science & Industry sectors. Additional requirements include:

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent required (Engineer and Chemist Preferred).
  • Proficient in English and Spanish Language, others desirable as Portuguese.
  • Confirmed ability in Direct and Indirect Sales of capital equipment including identifying and qualifying opportunities, creating innovative solutions, and closing business.
  • Understanding of Academic and Industrial markets for Materials Science, Life Science, and Semiconductors
  • Lead involvement of himself and the team to achieve customer satisfaction of our products and services.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and ability to analyze data effectively
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment
