Job Description
This role in our Immunodiagnostics Division (IDD) is essential for revenue growth and market expansion of IDD products. The position leads and develops Channel Partnerships, establishing and maintaining positive relationships. The role drives sales performance and aligns with Thermo Fisher's business strategy in Latin America.

At our corporate offices in Bogotá, Colombia.
Scope
Latin-American scope, except Brazil.
What will you do? (Responsibilities)
Channel Partner Management:
- Foster positive relationships with existing Channel Partners, offering continuous support, training, and motivation.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new Channel Partners within the scientific and diagnostic industry, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and target markets.
- Conduct regular business reviews with our distributor assess performance and identify and dynamize growth opportunities.

Sales Performance:
- Work closely with Channel Partners to develop and efficiently implement sales strategies that boost revenue growth and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Offer mentorship, training, and resources to improve Channel Partners' product knowledge, sales skills, and overall commercial efficiency.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to stay updated and develop appropriate business and commercial strategies.
Business Planning:
- Collaborate with colleagues from different areas to build and implement detailed Channel-specific business plans.
- Chip into sales forecasts, budgets, and other financial targets development.
- Provide insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to support commercial strategies, product development, and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Life Science areas such as bioengineering, biology, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (equivalent experience will also be considered, and an MBA is a plus).
- Confirmed experience (5 years) in Channel Management, Sales, or Business Development within the scientific and diagnostics industry.
- Proven understanding of distribution channels, partner management, and sales strategies for scientific and diagnostics products.
- Experience in leading Channel Partnerships across different countries and cultures.
- Good understanding of the industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for channel growth and success.
- Authority in implementing sales strategies and marketing plans.
- Understanding of financial metrics and the ability to develop and run budgets.
- Experience in forecasting sales and setting financial targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with collaborators and internal team members.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights, and data-driven decisions.
- Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrates a high level of self-motivation and consistently achieves desired outcomes.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite.
