Responsibilities and Authorities
- Master scheduling, capacity planning, and machine loading to meet operational objectives.
- Analyze inventories and position stock in according to forecast and demand.
- Plan, control, and monitor raw material inventories to meet manufacturing and sales demand.
- Interact with suppliers and internal staff to ensure timeliness and quality of materials and/or products.
- Manage stock at efficient inventory turns level and ensure a flawless supply of production materials for maximization of manufacturing resources.
- Ensure timely shipping of raw materials to meet immediate, ongoing, and future needs.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, etc.
- Manage and lead related projects in procurement and planning functions.
- Manage purchase requirement on price, delivery lead time, minimum order qty, delivery, quality and support.
- Prepare reports for corporate information relating to purchasing and planning functions and data; analyze and prepare recommendations as to policy, procedural improvements, forecasts, and projects.
- Offer mentorship and training for new Buyer/Planners/interns

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in Materials Management.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in buying and planning activities in a manufacturing environment. Experience will be doubled for non-Degree holders.
- Strong in internal and external collaborator management
Proficiencies Preferred
- Requires a good working knowledge of materials or product flow and control techniques.
- Able to work independently and maintain focus on departmental goals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects; ability to multi-task.
- Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- ERP (JDE, SAP, system) Excel and PowerBI experience required.
