Job Description

Purpose

• Responsible for completing spot buys and low complexity sourcing events as part of the CoE Buy Desk

Key Responsabilities

• Complete one-time or low complexity sourcing requests as part of the Procurement Excellence Buy Desk

• Gather and analyze data using procurement spend analytics tools

• Work with Market Intelligence team to research and identify potential suppliers for sourcing requests

• Perform basic cost and scenario analysis to analyze supplier bids

• Research potential vendors, develop and complete RFP for spend less than $500K per event.

• Partner with customers to ensure clear requirements' documentation is translated to RFP and contracts as appropriate

• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to inform sourcing strategy

• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing delivering with suppliers and record annual P&L savings.

Education

• Proven working experience as procurement agent.

• 1-2 years of purchasing experience / negotiations

• Bachelor's degree in operations, business administration or related field.

• High level of English language competency (verbal and written) - C1+

Experience & Qualification

• Experience with sourcing process, vendor management, contract negotiations and procure to pay operations

• Expertise in sourcing tools (e-sourcing, ERP)

• Negotiation skills - will need to solicit bids and negotiate purchases directly with suppliers

• Breadth of experience across Indirect Sourcing categories

• Agility and flexibility to develop expertise across sourcing categories in areas complementary to the existing team

• Desire to grow and develop as a sourcing specialist and develop category expertise Indirect portfolios (e.g., Services, IT and Facilities)

• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment - self-starter who looks for ways to improve existing processes

• Strong customer service orientation, keen to deliver on internal customer needs

• Independent worker with ability to track and manage own deadlines

• Ability to gather, interpret and analyze data to inform sourcing decisions
