Group/Division: Special Diagnostic Group, Vietnam
The successful candidate should demonstrate outstanding business management to deliver sales targets and drive business growth in Vietnam. The candidate should have an effective partnership with channel partners to secure market opportunities and will closely collaborate with the regional divisional teams to gain share and drive demand through the value propositions. Externally, establishing engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and key accounts will help for market penetration and improve market influence. The person will manage $4m business (mainly in microbiology and clinical diagnostic division) and be responsible for the profitability and development of clinical business in Vietnam. To carry out its missions, it is important to develop the various production and marketing objectives and keep supervising the evolution of business strategies. Depending on each sector and market changes, the Business Unit Manager offers solutions to improve returns and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve business target by successful channel partner management and business plan execution
- Prospect and establish new opportunities by handling a sales pipeline and developing and delivering proposals to customers by illustrating Thermo Fisher's value proposition.
- Develop the solutions, selling strategies for new business opportunities and gaining market share.
- Maintain accurate and current records of proposals, opportunities, accounts, contacts, leads, and actions for project pipelines
- Build and sustain relationships with KOL.
- Collaborate with extended team to drive initiatives that is in line with regional and or global strategic direction.
- Being responsible for looking the market trend and competitor environment, to successfully gain the share
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Life Science/ Biochemistry/ Medical technology or any Science related fields.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant sales experience in IVD industry segments (including 5 years in collaborating with channel partners).
- Ability to collaborate and get along with cross-functional teams and matrix partners to achieve business results and drive sales/account strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SFDC
