The Clinical Research Group within Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Integration Project Manager II to drive internal initiatives that support the integrated CRO+CDMO capabilities (PSG/CRG) to deliver consistent growth and year over year revenue advancement. This individual will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute the plan to enable joint-business objectives. This individual should be a strong leader with highly developed communication, organizational change, influencing, project management, and presentation skills.

A day in the life:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and deploy initiatives enabling the annual joint-selling target across PSG/CRG
  • Lead and manage internal workstreams with objectives aligned to global implementation of the Integrated CRO + CDMO capabilities.
  • Drives clarity/alignment across network and accountability to achieve plan.
  • Lead organizational change
  • Acquire and allocate project resources
  • Build schedule for project or event timeline
  • Monitor adherence to the schedule
  • Identify, resolve, and/or escalate risks
  • Support and direct team
  • Monitors and report key metrics, monthly/quarterly reporting, leads governance review forums.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical field
  • PMP certification required
  • Prosci certification preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4+ years in a highly regulated industry (pharmaceutical, food, aerospace, automotive).
  • Minimum 6+ years in project management and 2+ years working in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Prior project experience across business units/divisions.

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

  • Ability to understand business needs and requirements, and to break down into actionable plans and tasks.
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively in global teams with ability to transition between roles effectively and bring ideas to management, including at executive level.
  • Ability to overcomes obstacles and achieve key outcomes, follows through to get things done and hold organization accountable to deliver on objectives.
  • Ability to achieve alignment across and priorities and simplify complex problems with clear roadmap and vision.
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously to meet strict deadlines.
  • Proactively manage assigned initiatives to ensure goals/targets are achieved within plan and with minimal direction adaptability
