Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with customers and channel partners to drive sales growth in the Bioscience Division.
  • Create and implement strategies to increase profitable sales and achieve sales forecasts in the biotechnology research market.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Product team, and Supply Chain team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to raise awareness of the Bioscience Market in the assigned area.
  • Follow up on leads from other divisions of the organization.
  • Meet annual sales and gross margin targets while operating within budget guidelines.
  • Stay informed about market issues and trends affecting the biotechnology research segment and provide strategic direction for business growth.
  • Identify and engage with new key customers, including participating in scientific events and building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Manage account receivables and conduct regular reviews with customers and channel partners.
  • Forecast sales funnel for the assigned area and work with channel partners to monitor and grow business.
  • Leverage Thermo Fisher connections to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Lead business development initiatives to improve market share in major/key accounts.
  • Maintain customer call average norms and coordinate with the Key Account Management team to achieve regional goals.
  • Market intelligence ( e.g. update on competition)
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitors in the biotechnology research industry to provide regular updates on the competition.
