Job Description
Summary:
Handles a portfolio of moderate to strategic or complex client projects. The Associate Project Manager (APM) is responsible for all areas of project scoping, quoting, execution, progress monitoring, and client communication and serves as the primary client contact for assigned Comparator projects. Leads contact with the client on behalf of the company. As the point of contact, the PM provides timely and accurate communication and information for all relevant activities end-to-end related to Comparator projects, both internal and external.
The PM ensures that the products are ready for the start of the study or as required by the customer. Leads the assigned Project Teams (company and client), providing coaching or feedback to team members/management as appropriate. Manages all associated client project deliverables in line with the defined responsibilities of each project team member.

EssentialFunctions:
Supports global customers of various sizes and complexity ranging from new key accounts to customers with a complex profile seeking assistance.
Engages with the requestor at the time of the request to understand the project scope and constraints capturing key project attributes in internal systems.
Organizes internal kick-off meetings, and ensures proper handover to the sourcing team.
Evaluate the alternatives, select the suitable solution for the customer - based on benchmark data from the official database, blending expert knowledge of customer and Comparator business needs - and prepare a quote for the customer.
Follows up regularly with internal requestor or customer until the final decision is made and updates the internal database as per the requirement.
Manages handover of accurate documentation of the confirmed project to the Supply chain team and QA likewise engages the QA team for any identified challenges.
Participates in Project meetings, Quarterly Business Review meetings (QBR), and other meetings with Customers and actively supports the preparation of these meetings.
Identifies complex problems and helps facilitate solution-finding and or suggests a solution.
Acts as a knowledge holder of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Clinical Trial Division, Fish Clinical Services, customer and Suppliers' T&C and policies.
Works closely with the project team to ensure best-in-class client service for projects. Balances core project responsibilities among team members and keeps them informed of all major client milestones and strategic client movements within their portfolios.
Competencies:
A good understanding of project management principles is required. Knowledge of GMP and the pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Well-organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks across a portfolio of projects. Has business acumen and stress resilience. Has a strong attention to detail and is able to make and meet commitments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership and conflict resolution skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
